Wired Collaborative is a creative design studio based in St. Simons Island, Georgia that focuses on luxury one-of-a-kind Turkish rugs and timelessly classic specialty lighting. Working directly with rug makers and distributors in Turkey, Wired Collaborative needed to both expand their reach in the South Eastern US market as well as improve their overall online customer experience.
Wired Collaborative’s custom rug designs required a website as unique as their product. With access to thousands of rugs in a variety of colors, sizes, weave types, and price points, it became obvious that a standard e-commerce website would not cut it. Wired Collaborative needed a bespoke custom theme built that could both grow their online presence through an intentional business-to-client website and one that catered to their clients invaluable design taste.
IDEA Lab worked with Wired Collaborative’s design team to create a cohesive brand experience through graphic design and a customized shop theme. We then created a comprehensive inventory of their rugs by variant to ensure the site would be as shop-able as possible for their customers. The project included set up of a full-service e-commerce website complete with back-end inventory management, custom shipping solutions and an in-store POS.
